I can't help but see the same demon in these two... a narcisisstic impulse that requires constant stoking of populist fires. We all have our demons. Coupling this one with political power is particularly dangerous.

I'm surprised that Jesse wasn't on chavez like, uh, white on rice? -- for givng the "Black Power" salute.
Chavez is the new Castro. I expect Oliver Stone and Steven Spielburg to make a movie illustrating how downtrodden and misunderstood these two great men are, and how history will prove their greatness, any damn day now.
(Oh, and I think you meant, "like two klingons on uranus.")
